As I've considered what 2009 holds for me, I realized I haven't the foggiest notion what will/might/could/should occur in the next 365 days. All I can know for sure is that I am done with school, and I've got some serious school debt I need to pay back. Other than that I could find myself living in any number of locations, doing any assortment of jobs, interacting with a variety of people, so what resolution can I possibly make that will translate to all those conditions?
Well, I've decided that my resolution this year will be to bloom where I'm planted. No matter what situation I find myself, no matter how inhospitable the circumstances, I will strive to become what God intended for me. Wherever I am, whatever I'm doing, I will try strive to live-up to my potential.
Hopefully I can maintain this vision throughout the year, and I wish you all luck with your own resolutions.

Love this resolution. Can I just cut and paste it onto my own blog?? :) I'm excited to see where 2009 takes you as well, but one thing I do know for sure is that you WILL BLOOM wherever you are planted!
Wow, that's a great goal. Specific enough to know what you need to do and broad enough that you won't fail after the first week of the year. Not that I will think you will fail. In fact I am confident that you will succeed.
